Lee will play Goo Seung-hyeok, a veteran forensic doctor at U.D.I, a fictional institution responsible for autopsies and examinations.
His expertise makes him an exceptional investigator, but connecting with the living is another matter. Seung-hyeok rarely reveals his emotions and maintains a cool distance from those around him.
The character’s combination of technical precision and emotional restraint places Lee at the center of a drama in which the evidence left behind by the dead can change the lives of others.

A Japanese mystery reimagined for Korean television
The Korean production adapts the Japanese series Unnatural, which originally aired on TBS in 2018.
Its central setting remains a fictional forensic institution whose specialists investigate deaths that demand closer examination. The adaptation gives that premise a Korean setting and a new cast of characters.
Unnatural is written by Min Ji-eun and directed by Park Yoo-young. An exact premiere date has not yet been announced.
Editor’s Note
TBS’s official catalog lists the original Unnatural as a 10-episode series written by Akiko Nogi, broadcast from January 12 to March 16, 2018. The broadcaster describes it as an episodic medical mystery combining investigations with human drama. Those details refer to the Japanese original; the Korean adaptation’s episode count has not been established by the announcement cited here.
