The Boyz’s Hyunjae Adds Two Shows After First Solo Fan Meeting Sells Out

The THE BOYZ member will now meet fans across four performances in Seoul, turning his first independent fan event into an early test of his solo drawing power.

THE BOYZ’s Hyunjae is expanding his first solo fan meeting after tickets for its original two performances sold out immediately.

2026 Hyunjae Fan Meeting [The Present for you] was initially scheduled for September 12 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Woori Bank Hall inside Seoul’s COEX Artium. Following the sellout, organizers added two performances on September 13 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., bringing the event to four shows across two days.

Presales for the newly added performances will open through NOL on August 27 at 7 p.m. KST, followed by general ticket sales on August 28 at the same time.

The expansion gives Hyunjae more than an additional opportunity to meet fans. After nearly nine years of promoting as a member of THE BOYZ, the four-show event offers one of the clearest demonstrations yet of the audience he can draw under his own name.

A Title Built Around Hyunjae’s Name

The title The Present for you carries a deliberate double meaning.

“Present” can refer to a gift, reflecting Hyunjae’s intention to thank the fans who have remained beside him throughout his career. It also corresponds with the Korean meaning of his stage name, “Hyunjae,” which means “the present” or “now.”

The wordplay makes the fan meeting feel closely connected to his identity rather than functioning as a smaller version of a THE BOYZ concert. Its focus will be the relationship Hyunjae has developed with fans and the opportunity to share a side of himself that is less visible during group promotions.

Each performance is scheduled to run for approximately 100 minutes. Organizers say the program will combine live stages with conversations, games and fan-participation segments. Hyunjae has also been actively involved in preparing the event.

The official NOL listing prices tickets at 99,000 won and restricts admission to attendees aged eight or older.

Why the Sellout Matters Now

Hyunjae debuted with THE BOYZ in December 2017 and has since become known as one of the group’s prominent vocalists and performers. While he has taken on individual schedules, including an acting role in the 2021 web drama I Can See Your MBTI, he has never previously led a fan meeting on his own.

That makes the immediate sellout a meaningful indicator of individual demand.

It also comes as THE BOYZ enters a new phase in which the members are developing separate careers while preserving the group. In August, the members announced plans to pursue individual activities through agencies suited to their respective goals while continuing to work together as THE BOYZ.

Within that changing structure, a solo fan meeting allows Hyunjae to explore his individual identity without positioning the event as a departure from the group. The program can highlight his personal music choices, humor and communication style while maintaining the connection fans already know from THE BOYZ.

The decision to double the number of shows suggests that organizers underestimated the initial demand. However, the additional performances will provide a fuller measure of Hyunjae’s ticket power once presales and general booking begin.

A More Personal Format for Longtime Fans

Fan meetings occupy a distinct place in K-pop. Unlike concerts, which are structured primarily around performances, they provide more time for direct conversation, audience participation and unscripted interactions.

That format is especially suited to an artist holding his first independent event. Hyunjae will need to carry each 100-minute session without relying on the established roles and chemistry of a full-group appearance.

For fans, that is precisely the attraction. The event offers an opportunity to see how he selects songs, leads conversations and creates a performance when the spotlight remains entirely on him.

The first two sold-out shows have already confirmed substantial interest. The September 13 additions now turn The Present for you from a one-day celebration into a four-performance solo milestone.

Official updates and fan-participation events will be announced through Hyunjae’s PLEDGE platform.
