Her agency, BLISSOO, announced that the singer will release a new single titled “CLICK” on September 4 at 1 p.m. KST. The rollout began with a poster, a countdown page and a teaser video centered on a mysterious amusement park.

Rather than revealing the song’s sound immediately, Jisoo is introducing the project through visual storytelling. The countdown places viewers outside an unfamiliar fairground, while the teaser begins with Jisoo holding up an admission ticket. Character dolls then appear against a shadowy background, giving the footage the tension of a psychological thriller.

The contrast between the colorful promotional artwork and the unsettling teaser makes “CLICK” feel less like a routine single announcement and more like an invitation into a carefully constructed world. Following AMORTAGE and a Billboard Breakthrough

“CLICK” will be Jisoo’s first release in approximately 11 months, following “EYES CLOSED,” her October 2025 collaboration with British singer Zayn. The duet gave Jisoo her first solo appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, where it debuted at No. 72. It also reached the UK’s Official Singles Chart, strengthening her presence beyond the traditional K-pop market.

Before that collaboration, Jisoo released the four-track EP AMORTAGE in February 2025. Its title combined “amor” with “montage,” presenting different stages of a romantic relationship through “earthquake,” “Your Love,” “TEARS” and “Hugs & Kisses.”

That project established a more defined identity for Jisoo after she created BLISSOO to manage her individual activities and signed a global solo recording agreement with Warner Records. AMORTAGE explored a complete romantic arc, while “EYES CLOSED” placed her voice alongside an internationally established pop vocalist. “CLICK” now arrives with a concept that may allow her to embrace suspense, character and theatricality more directly.

That evolution is important because Jisoo’s career no longer operates solely as an extension of BLACKPINK. Until those details are officially announced, the amusement-park imagery provides the clearest indication of what Jisoo is planning. It suggests that her return will depend as much on atmosphere and narrative as it does on the music itself.

With “FLOWER,” Jisoo demonstrated that she could command attention independently. With AMORTAGE and “EYES CLOSED,” she began widening the scope of that solo career. “CLICK” now has an opportunity to show how far she is willing to take her own creative world.
