BIGHIT MUSIC said it sincerely apologized to passengers who were on the same flight as CORTIS.
According to the agency, the group’s boarding was delayed because of heavy road congestion caused by a traffic accident on the way to the airport.
The statement came after online discussions claimed that the Paris-to-Incheon flight on June 26 was delayed because the members boarded late.
The agency acknowledged the inconvenience caused to fellow passengers, while explaining that the delay happened under unexpected traffic conditions.
Agency Denies Boarding Bridge Outfit-Change Claim
BIGHIT MUSIC also denied another rumor connected to the group’s airport behavior.
Some online claims alleged that CORTIS had blocked passenger movement and changed clothes on a boarding bridge during a previous flight from Japan.
The agency said that claim was not true.
It also denied allegations that the group had repeatedly boarded flights late before the Paris flight incident. According to the explanation, CORTIS had completed boarding before the deadline during a Japan departure in May.
