“Screwballs” is a retro-concept variety show that brings together some of the most eccentric comedic talents to explore the joys and sorrows of life. Notably, the show reunites “Beat Coin” PD Park In Seok with the dynamic “fantastic five” cast of Kim Sook, Hong Jin Kyung, Cho Sae Ho, Joo Woo Jae, and 2PM’s Wooyoung.
The newly released teaser kicks off with an introduction to a brand-new variety show—only for the cast to immediately joke, “But why do I feel like we all met last week?” Afterward, dressed in costumes reminiscent of iconic Netflix hits like “Squid Game,” they announce the rebrand of the show, saying, “Everyone, the name has changed. It’s now ‘Screwballs.'”
Joo Woo Jae then asks, “So… what’s the main concept of ‘Screwballs’?” The following scenes showcase the cast diving into unpredictable, side-splitting games and exchanging unfiltered banter, keeping the energy at an all-time high. The captions on the screen sum it up best: “Simply put, we do everything” and “A variety show with a screw loose and no concept.”
